Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Board Certified

Specializing in ages 5 and up

Mandy is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in ADHD testing, medication management with supportive psychotherapy and genetics consultations for all ages. She is a Tate County resident and is actively licensed to practice Psychiatry in the States of Tennessee and Mississippi.

She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She completed her Psychiatric residencies at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven, MS, Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville, MS, the Memphis Mental Health Institute, Parkwood Behavioral Hospital in Olive Branch, MS, multiple regional outpatient clinics and the University Hospital in Jackson, MS.

At the heart of her work, Mandy is deeply passionate about helping others live well and become who they were created to be. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, she finds purpose in supporting individuals through life’s challenges, whether they’re navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, or simply feeling stuck. Her approach is rooted in compassion, clinical expertise, and a belief that true wellness goes beyond symptom management. She loves helping patients gain clarity, build resilience and capacity, and reconnect with their sense of purpose. For her, the greatest reward is watching people step into their potential with confidence, peace, and hope for the future.

When not in the office, Mandy enjoys spending time with her family & friends, playing board games, cooking (and eating), baking artisan bread, bonfires (s’mores…. yum!), car-karaoke, gardening, boating, hiking, camping and exploring the country with her 4 pip-pups. Mandy is an active member of Strayhorn Baptist Church. She is also a “Host Mom” with the International Student Exchange, hosting foreign exchange students from all over the world.

Avery Blake

Billing & Insurance Coordinator

Avery is the friendly, behind-the-scenes problem-solver who keeps our clinic’s insurance and billing process running like clockwork. With a background in healthcare administration, she combines strong organizational skills with a genuine passion for helping people understand their insurance benefits and navigate the often-confusing world of claims and coverage. Her calm and patient approach ensures that every patient feels supported and informed.

Outside of work, Avery treasures time with her close friends and family, often planning small get-togethers or lending a listening ear whenever someone needs support. She has a big heart for animals and loves spending time with her two playful dogs, who keep her active and laughing. When she’s not caring for others, Avery enjoys experimenting with recipes in her kitchen and tending to her growing collection of houseplants. She also finds joy in cozy book nights and the occasional board game marathon with loved ones. No matter the setting, Avery is known for her warmth, creativity, and the genuine care she brings to every part of her life.

Emily Floyd

Practice Manager

Emily is the welcoming voice and steady hand behind the scenes at Front Porch Psychiatry. As Office Manager and Patient Care Coordinator, she ensures that every patient feels seen, supported, and cared for from the very first phone call. With many years of customer service experience, Emily brings a natural gift for hospitality, a calm spirit, and an unwavering dedication to helping people feel safe, understood, and valued.

A true Southern heart, Emily is married and the proud mother of three busy kids. When she is not at the office, you can usually find her cheering from the bleachers at the ball field, spending time with family, or winding down with a good book. Home life is made even sweeter by her two beloved dogs, Buck and Chloe, who keep everyone laughing.

Emily is known for her sincere empathy. She believes in creating an environment where people feel comfortable sharing their stories and confident that they are in caring hands. Her hope is that every individual who walks through the doors of Front Porch Psychiatry feels welcomed like family and leaves knowing they matter.

"Lulu" Harris

Medical Assistant

LuLu brings decades of experience as a dedicated medical assistant and is a cherished part of the Front Porch Psychiatry team. Known for her warmth, compassion, and genuine love for people, LuLu creates a welcoming and comforting environment for every client who walks through the door. Her vibrant personality and natural ability to connect make her a true “social butterfly,” and it’s no surprise that clients quickly grow to love her. LuLu is deeply rooted in her faith, loves Jesus, and carries that spirit of kindness and care into her work each day.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling (especially to the beach) and attending concerts whenever she can. She also has a special love for Basset Hounds and enjoys collecting them, a reflection of her fun and affectionate personality.

Whether she’s helping patients feel at ease or sharing a smile, LuLu’s presence brings joy, energy, and heart to everything she does.

Sara Jane Yount

Office Assistant

Sara Jane is a part-time Medical Assistant who supports patient care by taking vital signs and assisting with laboratory services. She is currently a student at Strayhorn High School and is dually enrolled at Northwest Mississippi Community College, where she is building a strong foundation for her future career in healthcare. Sara Jane is passionate about patient care and is studying with the goal of obtaining her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

Outside of work and school, Sara Jane stays active and enjoys playing soccer and softball. She loves to travel, go camping, spend time at the lake, and relax with her four dogs. Her energy, dedication, and enthusiasm for helping others make her a valued member of the team.

Finneas is our squishy-and-sweet Boston Terrier with an attitude that’s all bark and no bite. He may look serious when he struts through the clinic, but truth be told, he’s mostly just hoping someone drops a snack.

This little gentleman has a waddle that could win awards and a heart that’s even bigger than his belly. While he pretends to be in charge, his favorite job is simply soaking up love, snoozing in sunny spots, and reminding us that life is better when you don’t take yourself too seriously.

Finneas is proof that confidence (and cuddles) come in all shapes and sizes. He’s just here to keep us smiling.

Magnolia is our sassy little Mini Aussie who proudly holds the title of Queen of the Clinic. Don’t let her size fool you, this southern belle has plenty of personality packed into her tiny frame. Magnolia loves greeting folks, soaking up attention, and making sure everyone knows she’s the star of the show.

She’s sassy, spoiled, and has more opinions than most people we know (bless her heart). Around here, we joke that Magnolia might need more therapy than the humans do, but that’s what makes her such a relatable little sidekick. Whether she’s prancing around the office or demanding extra belly rubs, Magnolia keeps our hearts light and our smiles big.
